We are looking for an acoustician

At IN-SITU Consult, we are now looking for an Acoustician to help us with our ever-growing workload. We are a small company that specializes in acoustics and geotechnics, especially in monitoring, measurement and analysis.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Noise calculations (SoundPlan)
• Measurements
• Contact to customers
• Preparation of documentation
• Financial management
• Coordination of own projects
• Offer calculation
• Updating of subject catalogs and standards within acoustics

At IN-SITU Consult, you become part of a smaller but tightly knit team, where openness, trust and innovative thinking are key words. We specialize in monitoring and measurements, and consultancy within the same. Here you get good opportunities to influence your own working day. In your work, you will be responsible for project and customer management from start to finish. The projects can vary from the simple projects to more complex projects. Naturally, this makes demands on your skills and your way of solving tasks.

You are involved in the entire process, from proposal formulation to final delivery, and this entails that you continuously:

• Maintains contact with and collaborates with builders, advisers, suppliers and possibly subcontractors
• Ensures the coordination of external and internal suppliers
• Follows up on parameters such as quality, economy and time

Employment

• As soon as possible

The job is a permanent position and is not related to a temporary project appointment. Salary according to skills and qualifications. The employment is basically a full-time position, but can also be a part-time position, depending on what you want.

The workplace will be in Copenhagen, specifically Kastrup.

What we expect from you

Education:

You are a trained engineer, and have either specialized in acoustics, or had a natural interest in this, which has meant that you have acquired the relevant knowledge. You are either newly qualified or an experienced acoustician. The most important thing is that you have the desire and the will to give the customer committed and safe advice. You must be able to think creatively and out of the box, as the solutions to some projects are not necessarily to do things as we usually do.

If you are certified by FORCE Technology to do environmental measurement, this is definitely an advantage. It is a prerequisite for employment that you either have the certification, or that you at least want to acquire it within a short time.

We would like you to:

• Has experience with measurement and calculation of external noise and/or building and room acoustics.
• Is accustomed to and thrives in navigating a construction site year-round.
• Works independently and systematically with a focus on quality.
• Preferably owns a car. At minimum, you must possess a category B driver's license for a personal vehicle.

Qualities:

• You are trustworthy, communicative, and motivating as a person.
• Additionally, you are committed, solution-oriented, and understand how to collaborate across a project organization.
• You are structured and have a systematic approach to tasks and can plan your own day.
• You are service-minded and capable of communicating with people at all levels.
• You are flexible and have an easygoing nature.
• You are proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English.

Professional qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Danish Environmental Protection Agency's guidelines on noise and vibrations, and able to apply them in practice.
• Experienced in working with standards.
• Experienced in handling cases and project management.
• Knowledge of programming would also be an advantage but is not a requirement.
• Experience in a similar position is definitely advantageous.
